Why Ammonia?

Because Fish have Gills

Fish Gills are very unique structures specialized to transport oxygen, carbon dioxide and ammonia in and out of the bloodstream.

Rid-A-fish uses the unique properties of gill tissue to selectively remove only gill breathing aquatic organisms.

How do you kill an aquatic invasive species?

With their own waste!  Remember when you brought home your first goldfish and placed it in your new uncycled aquaria.  Remember how the goldfish died 3 days later because the fish waste (ammonia) built up to toxic levels.  This is the same principle Rid-A-Fish uses to remove invasive aquatic species from your pond.

Ammonia Toxicity is highly impacted by pH
Rid-A-Fish utilizes ammonia combined with a pH increaser to allow effective removal of nuisance aquatic species at low ammonia dosages.

15 years in the making

Problems caused by invasive aquatic species can be difficult to resolve because  few tools are available to remove nuisance aquatic species.  After 15 years of experimenting with various chemicals, formulations and dosages we finally figured it out - and we are exited to share what we have learned with you!

Trained biologists are standing by to assist you with your pond renovation project.  We want you to be successful!
